Laksa Talk: Bad Bad Bad
Went to Kelantan Lane and try out the so called famous Sungai Road Laksa and ended with disappointment. The gravy was more on the thicker with dry shrimp but what is Laksa without Tau Pok??? Maybe some of you can do w/o it but as for me is a big NO NO... In my memory of the traditional childhood taste Laksa should consists of egg, tau pok, fish cake and cockles. Moreover, i can easily get this kind of Laksa taste everywhere, there's no need to visit this stall and be subjected to the stall owner arrogance and attitude.
Side Dish: Popiah ~ oso bad bad bad
While waiting for the Laksa, i ordered these 2 and again ended up with more disappointment. The skin is not even crispy, the fill sucks totally with the bland tasting turnip and the peanuts kinda strange taste. sigh~~~

2nd Runner Up: S$1.00 Meal over @ The Cafeteria of Ministry of Environment Building.
I can hardly believed that $1.00 dollar nowadays can still fetch for a bowl of noodle soup, it's truly amazing that with the increment of anything and everything, this place can still make it @ $1.00.
